An average driver could save about $1,200 to $1,500 per year. Even more as diesel prices continue to rise. A commercial truck owner could save $25,000 to $30,000 a year. Even if users only partially substitute DSE made fuel for petroleum diesel (they can be mixed together without problems), they could still save a significant amount by years end.
The fuel is cheaper and safer than making bio-diesel or any other alternative. Emissions are much cleaner than vehicles using petroleum diesel. The fuel will also help aid in lubrication of the injection pump. This is a major issue for many diesel owners since petroleum emissions regulations have deteriorated the lubrication properties of petroleum diesel leading to many injection pump problems recently.
